Aamir spent years in the film, which is a remake of Tom Hanks’ 1994 film Forrest Gump, and after the rave reviews and the film’s moderate BO performance, Aamir was deeply hurt and in shock.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, a close friend of Aamir said, “Aamir worked really hard to make the best version of Forrest Gump possible. Rejection has hit them hard.”
